Acid Alert is an innovative valorization project at the Ameloot group, centered around a groundbreaking detection concept. This concept enables the fabrication of robust sensors at a low cost while maintaining high sensitivity, capable of detecting volatile acids down to single-digit ppm levels. The technology harnesses the interactions between volatile acids and a unique porous material that collapses upon acid exposure, ensuring cost-effective and precise detection.
